Hello Parents,
This is a short bulletin to inform you of dates to remember in March.

* Wednesday, March 10th - TAKS Practice Reading Test

* Friday, March 12th - Field Trip to The Texas State Cemetery and The Austin Botanical Gardens (9-2). We need volunteer chaperones. Pack a sack lunch in a disposable sack.

* March 15-19 Spring Break!

* Thursday, March 25 Report Cards go home

Today we took our TAKS Practice Math Test. Your child will come home tomorrow with the results as well as the test book that needs to come back to school each day this week. Tomorrow I will go over the answers with all students, especially those who scored below 70%.

I encourage all parents to go over the test booklet with their child to celebrate their accomplishments as well as areas that they need to improve. Please note that some of the test items have not been covered in class, but I will teach them in the next few weeks (geometry, angles, more on measurement, probability).
After you review your child's notes, you should have a better understanding of what areas need improvement. If you have any questions, please let me know.
